CATHERINE (MOTHER)
Not much is said about Catherine, although she oddly shares the same name as William's wife, Catherine Boucher. She was
mainly at home, just cleaning up and doing stuff while her husband James Blake was out working. She was said to try and teach
William basic stuff schools did before they could afford to put him through schooling. It wasn't said when exactly she died,
but it was said to be when William Blake was young.

JAMES BLAKE (THE FATHER)
William Blake's father James Blake, owned a hosiery shop in London and
did it to get by. The family in a whole was said to be not very prosporous, meaning they weren't wealthy. James Blake just
did it to earn a buck here and their and make enough to get by while supporting his family. James Blake died in late
1783.

My Children
After many unsuccessful attempts, William Blake and Catherine Boucher finally gave up and were never able to have kids.
They thought it really had an effect on William's poem writing and may be why he wasn't so famous until people really understood
where his poems were coming from.

THE FAMILY!
This is a portrait, actually etched by William Blake himself but this isn't of his actual family. William was of course
the third child of seven, but two died during infancy. Their family was kept pretty well hidden and William's siblings
(5 brothers and 1 sister) were not ever really mentioned. Their parents were, as mentioned above, James and Catherine Blake.
